Bobby Sox is an idealistic young man living in the 1950's. He
dreams of being famous and popular, but it seems as if those hopes will
never be realized. His ill-advised crush on the head
cheerleader only makes things worse, as her boyfriend, the star football
player, enjoys picking on the smaller student.
When his high school team wins the state championship everyone is
celebrating, except for Bobby. Even the news that
rock-n-roll star, Drew Suede, is coming to town for the celebration does
not help. Little does Bobby understand that, thanks to Drew
Suede, his world is about to change.
