This play is an adaptation of the play, “Not Guilty”, by Wayne Rice and Mike Yaconelli.   It features a strong, Christian theme and is set entirely in a courtroom.   Two young people are on-trial for being Christians, and the punishment if found guilty is… Death.   Although this play has a serious message, it contains both adult and adolescent humor and avoids engaging in excessive theology.  The premise is simply explained and the audience is left to draw their own conclusions.

Set at Christmas in a small town, this play deals with the problems that affect so many throughout the year, especially at Christmas.   The main character, Peter, has lost his job and now faces financial disaster during the “happiest” time of the year.  His bitterness is compounded as he meets three strangers who tell their view of the season.  The powerful Christian message is displayed with steady humor and three “altered” Christmas carols, leading our heartbroken man into the hands of an “angel”.

A comical spin on the Goldilocks tale, this play features three hunters in the deep woods.   Goldy, a well-to-do young woman, stumbles upon the hunter’s cabin and shares in their meal and hospitality.   There is no moral focus and the approach is very sarcastic and humorous.  This is the perfect piece for use as a fill-in for a larger production, a vaudeville-style show, or as a funny skit at a social gathering.  WARNING:  The play pokes fun at the stereotypical, southern hunter.   If you have any in attendance, you may want to make sure that they can take a joke… remember, them thar varmints is armed!
