Robin Hood is at it again!  With King Richard away, the Sheriff of Nottingham is in charge, and he is out to “clean-up” and tax the countryside.  The clean-obsessed sheriff finds himself at odds with Robin’s rob-from-the-rich mentality, declaring him an outlaw and vowing to stop the merry band.   Lady Marion, the king’s daughter, discovers that the sheriff wants to have her killed so he can take over the kingdom.  Desperate, she flees to find Robin and his group.   Robin vows to save her, but she is soon captured.  Now, Robin must risk his band in a daring rescue.

This fun-filled tale brings a new take on the age-old story.  Robin, though still a hero, has a small problem with forgetfulness.  Marion, the beautiful daughter of the king, is more than a little talkative.   Several new characters; Elainy Lee, Bob, Lily White and Bin Dunn, help make this version of Robin Hood an exciting and entertaining show.

At the end, the audience is given a chance to choose between two, alternate endings.   This innovative way of bringing the audience into the show, allows for great flexibility.   Each performance night will be surprise for cast and audience alike.

An old pirate tells the tale of his life in this action-packed production.   The story follows the antics of John William, a pirate captain in search of a ship and more crewmembers.  Hampered by his reputation for not being very good at piracy, John William and his band of four try to hijack a vessel carrying gold into the Caribbean town of Tulay.

At the same time, Tulay’s governor, Morseby, and the garrison commander, Leftenant Montgomery, plot to continue their own career of theft.   Unknown to both groups, a separate pirate is actively thwarting their attempts, and this renegade is closer than they all realize.

In an amusing and surprising twist, his rival rescues John William from jail.  Fleeing in a stolen ship, the merged band of pirate’s races desperately to escape with the gold and reveal the governor’s crimes.

Although a challenge in sets and special effects, this show is a crowd-pleaser that is just as fun to produce.  The optional, two cast songs, including a duet between the principle characters, and a series of background and theme musical numbers allow the cast to explore additional areas of performance.

The beloved fairy tale comes to life in an original retelling.  As a poor father and daughter (Gabrielle) struggle against the oppression of their queen, a strange person holds the key to ending years of misery.

True to the classic story, this version includes a few twists that draw the audience into the action.   There is a German overtone to the script that allows the actors to explore the inclusion of a foreign language and customs.  Limited set needs and simple staging allows a lot of character flexibility.

Are Rumplestiltskin and his ability to spin straw into gold the answer to Gabrielle’s problem? Will the wicked queen continue her terrible reign?  What will happen with Prince Stephan?   There is enough new and familiar in our story to delight young and old.

It is the 1920’s, and a gangster named Bugsy Monahan is struggling to maintain his criminal empire within the city of New York.   A somewhat “soft” gangster, Bugsy’s image is more menacing than his “bite”.   His hangout, the Fuzzy Salamander, is a prize piece of real-estate, and it has the eye of Bugsy’s chief rival, Momma Rossini.

When Bugsy’s estranged sister and her husband suddenly pass away while at sea, Bugsy finds out that he is their daughter’s only living relative.   Bugsy is forced to choose between giving up his life of crime or sending the young child to an orphanage.   When he chooses Felicity, the police, Momma Rossini and the local press work hard to discredit Bugsy’s decision to “go straight”.

After Bugsy is framed by Momma Rossini and taken to jail, his girlfriend, Lola May and Felicity must try and reveal the truth.

This heartwarming and exciting adventure takes the audience into the gangster world of the ‘20s.  Complete with dancing and colorful characters, this production is great fun to stage.
